Photos look fine - I had a look at your photos in the gallery and they look good too. For a total beginner though . . . it looks like you should be giving us a few tips!!
I see from your profile you're using the E620 but what's the lens setup that you're using? Love the photo of the old bridge(?) over a river - it's like some old landscape folly. Hopefully you'll be posting more of your photos soon and get more of the nature and motorsport images shown too.

Regards
Chris

Good pictures with new camera

The cows in the hazy field is chocolate-boxy : that's a very good thing, I like it.

Personally I'd have cloned out the white sign and some offensive bright stuff on the right of the old bridge to make it into a splendid scene;

The e-600/620 are so easy to get nice pictures with!

Re: Trying out my new camera

Some eye catching images there Pete, like Chris and Ulfric I like the old bridge and the distant cattle.
Some of these wouldn't have been from a visit to Warwick castle would they?

Re: Trying out my new camera

Pretty good stuff, I too like the misty cows shot. The weir from above is a nice idea, but I think it've been better if you could have avoided the OOF beam of whatever it is at the top.

Good start though

Re: Trying out my new camera

Thanks for all your comments, they make me fell that I am getting some where all ready.
The old bridge is at the back of Warwick Castle. Yes, I could have cloned out the signs but I like my pictures to be as they are warts and all. To me if you play too much you end up with a false picture. The weir from above / from in the Castle, yes will crop the picture to take out the window bar.
The cows in the hazy field is a view from the back of my house. Looking over the river Parrett in Somerset
Camera is E620, with Olympus lens14-42mm, 40 - 150mm and a 70 - 300mm.
