If you have the MFT to FT adaptor can you also fit the FT to OM adaptor and use an OM lens?

Or will we have to buy the MFT to OM adaptor ?

Can you also check to see if it sends live view to a TV monitor

Thanks

It's definitely more quiet than an E-System DSLR. It's also quieter than the Panasonic G1, itself fairly quiet. But neither are sileny by any means. There is a firm shutter action sound, just not very high in volume. You can alo feel the shutter action through the hand gripping the camera.

I don't have any OM lenses (any more!) nor the OM adapter, but I have lodged an question with Olympus and will let you know as soon as I get a reply.

Live view to monitor - I will check. I only have a composite video lead at the moment, but will get a mini HDMI to HDMI asap.

You can use the MF-1 OM adapter on the MMF1 Four Thirds to Micro Four Thirds adapter, but Olympus recommend you use the MF-2 OMO to Micro Four Thirds adapter, probably because there is less play and so less chance of algnment problems.

I have an HDMI cable now and the E-P1 only allows viewing of images already taken. I haven't yet tried a composite video cable though.

As far as I can see, the composite video cable displays everything you see on the camera's screen, whatever the mode. Is that of any help?
