4/3 lenses

I have two 4/3 lenses for sale but no idea what to ask. Can anyone help?

12-60mm f2.8-4
50-200mm f2.8-3.5

They are both in very good condition, boxed, have protective filters and the 50-200 even has a case.

Like a lot of other members here, I'm changing over to m4/3. I'm now after the 40-150mm f2.8. so I need to sell some of my older kit.

I've looked at Fleabay and I just find it confusing so any help from you guys would be appreciated.

Cheers

Is the 50-200 the SWD version or the older one?

Re: 4/3 lenses

Any advice on these I am in a similar position, and have never found out how to look up sold prices on eBay.
I have a number of other 4/3 lenses to sell might just send them to a dealer.

Do an eBay search for lens then click Advanced Search and tick Completed Items box.

I also have a number of 4/3 lenses however, I think I'll wait until I find out how they'll work with the E-M1 Mk2 before trying to sell them again.

Based upon what I've read, it would seem the the next model will have improved AF and a better battery, if this means that 4/3 lenses perform faster on the new body it may be that their value will stabilise.

Re: 4/3 lenses

I just did that for the 12-60 and they are a lot less than I thought.
My suggestion for the 12-60SWD was going to be ~300 however there is someone selling them in the UK new at 279 and the cheapest recent secondhand one went for 181 ouch having said that there are also new and used listings for 499 ??
So it seems to be pretty variable based on this I'd have thought 250 for a mint secondhand lens would be a good price.

For the 50-200SWD I was going to say 400-450 which I think seems about right from current listings for mint egs although a non SWD one went recently for 280.

Hope this helps

Re: 4/3 lenses

Thanks for the replies. I'll put them up here when I come back off my hols. I'd rather they sold to a forum member than sell them on Fleabay.

Re: 4/3 lenses

...and don't forget that people will look at the eBay prices and immediately knock at least 10% off those to account for eBay fees...

You use Advanced Search and tick the Completed Listings box then run the search again.

Re: 4/3 lenses

Sorry but there is already a 50-200mm SWD for sale on this forum for 300. That should be a guide since it has not yet been sold.

Re: 4/3 lenses

All depends on condition Kenny but at 300 it's a steal. Maybe the new EM1 mk2 will increase demand for these old 4/3s lenses.

I agree, it's a great combination but it's just the weight of it.

Maybe something to consider.
