Manfrotto Spares

Can anyone out there recommend a reliable supplier of spares for Manfrotto tripods? I lost a rubber foot in some sloppy mud yesterday, I didn't spot it until I got back home!!

Cheers - Paul

Jim, thanks for a quick reply. It was neither, it's like a 'push on' cap. The model is MN718SHB DIGI SHORT MINI. I've tried local Camera shops and all I get is 'It's probably cheaper to buy a new one' At about 55-60 a pop I don't think so!!

Re: Manfrotto Spares

You could try contact Manfroto direct explaining the model you have and the part missing. They may very well be able to point you in the right direction or maybe even supply you the part direct.

You could also try asking on a more international forum as parts might be wider available in say the USA.

Hi Paul

Just in work at the moment but I've got the contact address for Manfrotto spares at home - I lost a part off my tripod last month and they were very quick with supplies.

Which tripod model is it?

Re: Manfrotto Spares

Have you tried your local garden centre - the one that sells canes to assist one when walking. Our local centre has many in different sizes.
Just a thought.

Regards. Barrie

That's an idea, as long as it does the job it can be anything. Thanks.

Re: Manfrotto Spares

Home now!

When I contacted Manfrotto they put me onto Johnsons Photopia on 0870 443 6843. They deal with Manfrotto spares and were very helpful.

If you click on this link from the Manfrotto website this will list the part numbers for your tripod:

http://www.manfrotto.com/webdav/site...B_20060331.pdf

Is it the R714.21 part?

Hi brob108, thats brilliant! Yes, the part is R714.21. It's just a little push-on rubber (?) cap, I don't think it's even glued on. I'll give them a call in the morning.

To all who have replied so far - thank you. All suggestions are duly noted and WILL be looked into for future reference. I doubt if it's the last time I lose the foot off a tripod!!

Thanks - Paul
