Friendly birds

I'm away in Scotland for a couple of weeks, yesterday we drove down Glen Nevis to start a walk. In the car park there were a number of birds this pair were very friendly. Took a few shots they didn't seem scared of people.

Re: Friendly birds

They're beauties, I particularly like the chaffinch, mainly because we don't see them round here very often

Re: Friendly birds

Wehey, who ate all the pies, who ate all the pies... he's a fat Chaffinch eh! Looks like he has binged in readiness for the Autumn and Winter seasons. They both look just a little soft Derek, perhaps some sharpening for web (Smartsharpen or USB in PS maybe?)

I wonder if birds north of the border are in fact, tamer...?

Re: Friendly birds

Hi, thanks for the comments. Yes the were tame threw them a little bread and they got even closer to take it. The shots of them taking the bread were against the stones so they didn't stand out.
They could probably be a bit sharper doing them on the lap top not got the best software on it yet.
