Video and lens corrections

With the trend towards using software to correct for lens aberrations, I was thinking about how this applies to video. For example, is each frame of a video corrected for distortion, vignetting and chromatic aberrations (in the case of Panny) on the fly, or do they not bother? Specifically, I was wondering how lenses having notable chromatic aberratons (Panny 12-35 for example) would work with video on an OM-D. Or is the degree of chromatic aberraton small enough that it wouldn't be noticeable on the lower resolution video frame?

Any experience of this out there?

(I can never think of anything witty to say when under pressure!)
