Re: Specs for new Panasonic Micro 4/3 DSLR

Just checked the size. On the Panasonic website is given as 3.29x4.88x1.78 inches!!
According to my ruler this is about the size of a normal post-it note - but a bit thicker!

Re: Specs for new Panasonic Micro 4/3 DSLR

Now I wonder when Olympus is going to announce their entry into the Micro 4/3 market?

What is interesting is that there are two formats to chose from. 4/3 and 2/3. The 2/3 is equivialnt to 9 megapixel per frame whereas the 4/3 is 4000x3000 or 12 megapixels. The EFV is a wopping 1,400,000 pixels. And it has an eye sensor to turn the camera on when your eye is looking through the view finder.

I wonder what the price point will be and how that compares to the full 4/3 format? We vwill see!

It's Panasonic - they haven't grasped the notion of cheap.
