What a sad story. I cannot understand any photographer doing that. He may have fooled everyone else while he received accolades and collected awards but not the person who really mattered - himself!

self guilt usuallly lets them down and they just have to TELL someone - they cannot live happily with such a massive guilt trip 24/7 365 ... maybe he did tell on the 4m which tipped off the investigation !

It is a dreadful shame on him, but worse are the financial and lifestyle implications on his family who depend on him
