nice ones Chris
If anybody asks how good is the 70-300 then we should point them here...
Known to be a lens you have to tame...did you have many problems with it?

Thanks.

No real problems to complain about - it is a lens that I'm always grateful about, bizarre though that sounds. Yes, it's best in good light, yes it sometimes seems to be part of the focus hunting issue that I have in lower light, but it's a good lens, at a good price, and at a relatively low weight. So I can take it anywhere without having to really think, and if it's an occasion not to take it out then that usually means that I need a very small discrete compact camera that fits in my pocket.
When partnered with a low weight camera like the E-4xx/E-5xx/E-6xx series then you have some pretty heavyweight potential without carrying a rucsac! It also shows why a E-4xx owner really can potentially take as good a photo as a E-3 owner.

Regards
Chris
