The Blue Mountains, NSW are...

blue! Heading back to blighty on Tues, so I took a quick visit to the Blue Mountains. Weather wasn't great (temperature even dropped below 10 degrees!), but it was worth the trip anyhow. I got some nice evening light near Victoria Falls.

What Graham said. And that first one of this set is a stunner.

You're going to be spending a long time in front of the screen when you get home playing with this lot!

Thanks for sharing them with us.

I have enjoyed seeing your photos too Paul. Nice that you were able to see some of Ross's part of the world. Pity about the weather, but all part of the experience of travel I guess.
Safe trip home.

Re: The Blue Mountains, NSW are...

Goodonya Paul. I'm glad you were able to take a peak at the Mountains, but sorry you cooled off a little up there (I may have forgotten to tell you it gets up to about 1100m up there), however I hope you liked it all the same. You've caught some lovely photos of the Mountains anyhow.

It's a lovely part of the world you live in Ross. I'm a tad jealous! It might have been chilly and a bit grey at times today, but the beauty of the place shone through nonetheless!

Re: The Blue Mountains, NSW are...

#1 is superb and stands out from the other great shots but the thing I noticed the most is the great clarity and no haze (presumably the lower temperatures helped).

A wonderful set Paul.

The golden light on the cliff face in the first one is fantastic.

I too have enjoyed following your trip, thanks for sharing it with us.

All very good shots, Paul. It's a pity you aren't able to stay longer and see lots more of Oz, mate - Im sure you'll be back for more sooner or later.
