Re: Open Door.....

This picture really gets my imagination going. I am really curious as to what is through the door (don't tell me though!!).

Apart from the initial stunning impact of your pictures they all have some sort of story behind them. Some are obviously real stories and others, like this one, more of a suggestion of what may be a story that leaves the viewer wanting to know more. I think that this is what makes me keep looking at your pictures.

Another great picture Garrie

Roy

Re: Open Door.....

Garrie - another excellent shot, super stuff as ever.

Can I ask if you use just the single image in Photomatix or if you take several shots of the same scene at different exposures and use these...?

Hiya John,

Thanks for the comment

I pretty much always take 3 exposures and use them in photomatix (all JPGS). Only time I don't is when I can't setup the Modo my trusty and really battered tripod (which is rare) and I pseudo an ORF file ("the end" as an example of this).

Having a remote release helps me big time, I've broken a few and withou it. I felt like I'd lost a limb. My kit does take a beating and to be fair the E510 is loving it, can't wait till I can afford an E3..

Cheers
G
