Smile Oh no! I've gone and done it!

I've put a deposit against an OM-D sitting on the dealer's shelf now. Have I done the right thing? I don't know when I can pick it up though...

Of course you've done the right thing. Was the price good or at normal retail?

I'm loving mine & still getting to know it in real life shooting.

It's full retail. It's what you have to suffer for wanting something that is in short supply. When the initial demand drops off and stock starts to gather dust on dealers' shelves, expect the price to drop. That's what happened with the Fujifilm X100 and X10 anyway.

Its a brilliant camera, I'm very impressed and getting better images than from my 50D which I sold after a month of using the OM-D. I think the additional grips improve handling and would recommend adding them, not sure if they are still on free offer though.
