Assuming that you are OK, as you have taken and posted these pix, re your signature - I take it you kept fixing your van!

Seriously though, I do hope you are all right.

Re: whats wrong with this photo

Well the light would have been so much better just a bit further down the road.

Still your camera seems OK, hope you are.

I can't help thinking that a red van would look better.

Re: whats wrong with this photo

I sometimes feel inadequate given the effort some people put into a good picture... Glad you appear to be okay.

On a composition front, I think hanging off the bridge with a motion-blurred wheel in mid air would be good.

Has anybody else noticed that the only bit of "police" we can see on the car in picture one is "ICE"?

Re: whats wrong with this photo

You've blown the sky and those lampposts are rather an intrusion...

Could you go back and do it again when the light's better?

Seriously, what happened and more to the point, are you OK?

Should be "black" ice, not blue.

By the way, you should have used a filter on the sky, it's a little burnt out..
Hope you're insured.

Re: whats wrong with this photo

Thanks to all for your concern. both the driver of the other car that T'boned me and myself are fine, i am a bit bruised but otherwise ok. The funny thing in retrospect was that i was more concerned about my beloved e600 being undamaged rather than the condition of my van or myself. On a serious note i now know what the underside of my van looks like. ATB Martin

You were lucky to walk away with just bruises but it's good to see that you have your priorities right!

Glad to hear that all's OK.

Re: whats wrong with this photo

Well I think that the picture lacks a little drama

Where are the shots of the guilty party being draggedd off in irons

Seriously .. Like the others here I'm glad you're OK with sense of humour intact if not the van

Regards
Andy

Glad you are OK. Van should have been on its other side then the writing would have been easier to read?

Re: whats wrong with this photo

All that dappled sunlight through the trees and you have to go and land on the dull grey patch.
I suppose the van was empty, hence able to be splatted by a mere car.

It looks like an accident-prone corner, look at the brick wall that's definitely been on the receiving end of some unfortunate incidents.
