Recent partial eclipse of the Moon

Looking back at a few images on a rainy day
Shot hand held with Olympus OMD EM1 mk2 at 300mm using 40-150 lens with the MC-20 x2 converter. F5.6, 1/6s, iso 640, spot metered with -0.3 exposure compensation. Cropped about 50% and contrast tweaked in LR.

Re: Recent partial eclipse of the Moon

Well caught Phill. It works nicely....

I think we had cloud cover here on that day...………….:-(

Re: Recent partial eclipse of the Moon

Yes so did we for most of the time. If you look closely I think you can still see a bit of wispy cloud in that shot.

Re: Recent partial eclipse of the Moon

I like your quarter moon shot Phil, I'm only waiting for a warm clear night to try my hand at some astrotography.

Re: Recent partial eclipse of the Moon

That's a nice record of the Partial Lunar Eclipse that coincided with 50 Years After Apollo 11 Launch.

Re: Recent partial eclipse of the Moon

How would the 'flat earthists' explain that one?

Re: Recent partial eclipse of the Moon

Jim, it must be a fake shot, I guess there is a lot you can do with pencils and shading on flat paper
