I can see the reasoning for this but the "other" leaf sort of works for me.

Very nice, (looks like a cotaneaster leaf to me) I agree with Alf in this case about it being the one leaf, without having to worry about the other top leaf being in focus it would have been easier to get the bottom of the main leaf in focus without compromising the shallow dof.

After walking around after the gale there are virtually no autumn leaves on the trees round by me.
