Smile Can anyone help?

I have been looking for a relatively cheapish flashgun for my e420. but there aren't many olympus flashes. Are they any good, cheapish ones that are compatible with e420?

Re: Can anyone help?

Because I tend to use manual control of flash, I use any old guns from eBay and trigger them with slave cells or radio triggers

If you want one for on camera flash, get an old Olympus T-32

Re: Can anyone help?

Just be careful not to use an old gun with a high trigger voltage, as it could easily damage the electronics in a modern camera.

Most modern flashguns have trigger voltages in single figures (easily measured with a multimeter), whilst some older guns have trigger voltages of 300 Volts or more!
