Re: Wondering about IR conversion

I had a Pen converted a few years ago: http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=13716 (720nm).

The work was done by ACS and cost about £200 (correction, excluding VAT). Their current price is £250 excl.VAT. They probably could do an E-M10 but it's not on their price list.

Ian

PS Sounds competitive to LifePixel - Margaret did you pat $425?

I queried ACS, and they told me they don't convert Olympus cameras. Which surprised me, as someone on here had already mentioned getting a PEN done by them. But I can only take them at their word.

And I paid LifePixel the $425, minus their 20% sale discount, which came to something like $85 off. Not too different to ACS, apart from all the taxes! And actually done in only 2 days, compared to the several weeks ACS quote on their website.
