Olympus Repair Address changed

I logged a call with Olympus a few weeks ago about repairing my E-M5, and they gave me a DHL owned address to use in Nottingham. I posted the camera off this week and it came back 2 days later as "Address unknown"

I rang Olympus up and apparently DHL closed their offices without telling them.
Top marks to Olympus - they are arranging DHL to come to my house today to pick it up, and will then ship it off to Portugal.

But a warning for anyone else with the Nottingham address make sure you check for a new address before sending anything off there

David

Re: Olympus Repair Address changed

The UK repair web site has been updated

http://www.olympus.co.uk/site/en/c/c...ing/index.html

however best to access it via the Olympus UK web site - just in case it moves.

Re: Olympus Repair Address changed

Hi David
I had the same experience as outlined in this thread, I contacted Olympus and they sent DHL to pick up the camera free of charge.
It seems there was a communication breakdown between DHL and Olympus over when exactly the closure would happen. It delayed my repair by nearly a week by the time it was sorted, but once they had the camera everything has progressed quite speedily (so far).
Good luck with your repair
