"Two gripes though: I wish Olympus would give us a minor upgrade (mirror lockup and focus confirm on legacy lenses etc etc...) Not much chance of that I guess."


I contacted Olympus in Japan who basically stated (nicely) that no this was not likely to happen, no foreseen upgrades to software in this area. Cant help feeling if this camera had been sold in the US the situation would have been different.

All I can say is "Great" (Meaning Not_great, Olympus)

However despite that I am still tempted to buy a E510 body one day to make a useable pair with the E400.
