A few more from RIAT

From Sunday, excellent day this afternoon for photography, the morning was a little washed out.

Lots of open space in this - worth a crop? Looks good at full res on Flickr.

Thanks for sharing.

#3 is one to cherish as it may well be the Vulcan's swan song.

Re: A few more from RIAT

Thanks. If I do it again next year I'll be getting some bigger glass - Mostly the 40-150R did admirably, but more reach would have been appreciated

Loads more to come over the week.

Lovely shots Skids. That last one's got to go on the wall.
Done with the 40-150R as well, it really does punch well above it's weight. I doubt the pro version would have done much better.

Re: A few more from RIAT

Thanks for the comments chaps - I'll be drip feeding these when I get a chance this week. I have a tree that needs to come out this week!

I'm pleased once again how well the "kit" lens performed. Something like a 70-300 would be excellent from where I was standing. There are a few more on my Flickr

Re: A few more from RIAT

Excellent last shot. It's very sad to realise this is her last year of flight.
