That is insane. It made me feel quite ill in places. Thanks for posting Barr1e.

Cool Re: Stunning scenery - Isle of Skye

Whenever I see anything like this, I always think of the film crew that are right there with them, often exposed to the same risks as the "Frontman"

Still a really cool adventure.

Re: Stunning scenery - Isle of Skye

It is an amazing film and the hour long BBC documentary about how it was made was a good watch too.

Re: Stunning scenery - Isle of Skye

From someone sitting in a chair watching it, that was, in almost every aspect, an incredible journey. Fantastic scenery, photography and skills, it has it all. Beats seven bells of the sticky brown stuff out of all these wannabe shows we've been subjected to over the last few years.

If the above post is correct, then this is another BEEB cracker that has sneaked in and remained under the radar.

Hi Iain -

Thanks. I missed the post you made.

A friend sent me the video link last night and I was taken with the scenery and photography and felt it was worth sharing.

It goes to show how popular it still is.

Kind regards. Barr1e

A different kind of scenery here!
I must be getting old, I prefer the Skye film!

Re: Stunning scenery - Isle of Skye

Thanks for posting this Barr1e, it's a stunning film and as Iain mentioned the special about the making of it was excellent too. I think it should have been broadcast nationally as it showed how beautiful Skye is. It also shows the talent of the film makers and not least Danny Macaskill to great effect too. I have been to Skye several times and up on the Cuillin Ridge as well and there's no way I would ever ride a bike along it!
