Worthy upgrade from e-m10 ?

I've had my e-m10 for a few months now and I love it. Next month, all being well, I'll take it to Santa Pod to see how it fares. My concern is the e-m10s ability in panning ( not had much of a chance apart from one dabble with c-af which was pathetic. S-af seems better ).

So, is the e-m1 markedly better ? Night and day better or just a bit better ?

any pointers appreciated, thanks

I'd say with v.3 firmware it's notably better, but it's still not the ideal action camera. I'd try your E-M10 on some passing cars first. Predictable motion of large objects might be within its capabilities.

The lens will make some difference too - what are you planning to use?

Re: Worthy upgrade from e-m10 ?

Don't have anything long and fast - looking at my old d7000 / 70-300VR shots, then tend to be at 120-150mm so that means I have the 40-150 iiR or the 75-300.

The quickest I have is the O60 but it won't be long enough

You could hire a faster lens from Ian.

Might be worth making contact with Ian directly as the list looks a little out of date.
