Re: Beachy Head - Eastbourne

Some really nice compositions, but there's a 'gritty' harshness to some of them that suggests oversharpening, but it could just be the low light accentuating textures.

Great set of images, fancied a visit there myself, ideally during a storm.

Re: Beachy Head - Eastbourne

A lovely set of images, very effective compositions with beautiful colours in the autumn sunshine. I think you may have overdone the sharpening on some of them though - there are some distinct halos on the horizons in the last couple, for example.

Thanks for sharing them ... John

Re: Beachy Head - Eastbourne

Thanks for all the kind words and comments.

I do a simpler pp acts of resizing, bordering and if necessary mild adjustment
in shadow and highlights, but didn't realize an un-sharp mask with 0.3pxl radius
for 50% would sharpen the pics more than required.

Btw, What a beautiful place to walk, enjoyed every moment of it, would try
riding the bike next time.

regards,
adal

A very nice series of a well known coastline - including from this former (very young when leaft) Sussex resident.

However, because I check into the Argus everyday on line cannot but also think of the tregedy of the significant number of people who suicide from here.
