Re: Oly E-3, E-30, Lenses, etc

Hi Chris,

I think I am interested in your macro lens, assuming it will be compatible with my 620 four thirds?

I'm an amateur who loves taking photos the end.

Was advised to try this site, by someone on the pink fish site, after asking about macro lenses.
Saw your advert and thought need to join.

My intention is to get some wild Machair photos this year and some dragon flies, think this might do the job?

I have saw one that looks a good price on ebay item no 14066902375 I think this may be the same as yours, going for £369?

So, if you can enlighten me of what cost you would be willing to part with it. That would be great.

Sorry to hear about the circumstances of sale.

Just joined so I am unable to send pm

Carol

Hi Chris,

Sorry to hear you are unwell - I am interested in acquiring a 12-60 plus a few other bits n pieces - as a fellow HW resident any way we can meet up to examine the goods? Have tried to send a PM but don't think have posted enough to be able to do it!

Re: Oly E-3, E-30, Lenses, etc

Sorry for the delay. Christmas, relatives, etc.

From the replies received so far, it would seem that it will be difficult to sell all the kit in one go, so I have prepared a list with individual prices.

My difficulty is that if I do not sell most of the kit then I may well keep some of it. So on that basis, I will reserve each bit of kit on a first come first serve basis for a few days. The list will be updated on a regular basis with the name of the member alongside. Some of the kit I will definitely sell regardless. I will contact those members with payment details.

Insured postage will be the responsibility of the purchaser so that needs to be added to the price of each piece of kit.

I would remind you that each piece of kit is in pristine ‘as new’ condition.
The price in brackets is the current new price from either SRS Microsystems or Park Cameras. Both of these suppliers are usually on the pulse in terms of keen pricing.

Olympus E3 includes 2 x Oly BLM-1 Batteries – (8067 clicks) - £600
Olympus E30 includes 2 x BLM-1 Batteries – (9652 clicks) - £500

Olympus 50mm f2 Macro (£579) - £400
Olympus 35mm Macro (£219) - £125
Olympus 9-18mm (£459) - £300

Olympus 14-42mm & Olympus 40-150mm + Hoya Pro CP & UVA (£400) - £150
Olympus FL50R Flash (£429) - £250
Olympus FL36 Flash (£199 – R version) - £80
Olympus RM-UC1 Remote Cable (£50) - £20

Re: Oly E-3, E-30, Lenses, etc

No update on progress (I hope it's just a New Year glitch (should that be glass? :-) so I don't know what deals have been finalised. I'd like to express my interest in the 35mm macro if it's still available.

Re: Oly E-3, E-30, Lenses, etc

OK, the Chris January Sale is now on, I’ve reduced most of the prices.
I would remind you that each piece of kit is in pristine ‘as new’ condition.

Olympus E3 includes 2 x Oly BLM-1 Batteries – (8067 clicks) - £575
Olympus E30 includes 2 x BLM-1 Batteries – (9652 clicks) - £475

Olympus HLD4 Battery Grip inc 2 x Uniross BLM-1 (£229) - £90

Olympus 35-100mm f2 (£1999) - £1350
Olympus 12-60mm (£929) - £500
Olympus 50mm f2 Macro (£579) - £350
Olympus 35mm Macro (£219) - £125
Olympus 9-18mm (£459) - £275
BID RECEIVED - Sigma 30mm f1.4 - £200
Olympus 14-42mm & Olympus 40-150mm + Hoya Pro CP & UVA (£400) - £125
Olympus FL50R Flash (£429) - £225
Olympus FL36 Flash (£199 – R version) - £75
Olympus RM-UC1 Remote Cable (£50) - £20
*Hahnel Wireless Remote Shutter Release (E3) (£70) - £20
(* works perfectly but will not turn off unless battery is removed!)
Olympus E-System Backpack - £20

P&P needs to be added. If you’re close’ish to High Wycombe, I can arrange to meet half way.

I can take credit card payments via my Paypal account, but please allow for £3.40 per £100 to meet my expenses.

If anyone knows where I can sell this kit other than here (or EBay) then please let me know.

Cheers

Re: Oly E-3, E-30, Lenses, etc

Hi Chris, sorry to here about your bad news, my brother was given similar news some years ago now, - you never know what's around the next corner... The reason i'm replying to your post is i'm interested in your E-3/12-60 ,are they still available? i'm just a little way down the m40 from you in ruislip, this is my first post so i don't think i can do pm's yet but if you want to email me it's(not allowed to post email address) ,i'm not that computer literate and had a bit of trouble finding this post agian after seeing it earlier so bear with me if i don't respond quikly to a post-best regards Cliff p.s. paypal avalable.

Chris, I would like to buy the HLD4 & batteries. Would you accept a bank transfer rather than using PayPal?
