Exclamation New E-PL2..... Oh dear....

..... I think I'm in love.....

Olympus E-PL2 & 14-150mm & VF-2....

What an utterly fantastic miniature marvel of modern technology - a camera I'll take everywhere with me and not have to plan it, and no broken back either with a backpack full of lenses and heavy body..... bliss...

Nice to see that the Olympus menu designer is still on strike, so everything was very much the same as my previous Oly's for setup....

Have been trying for about two hours to get the 'Super Control Panel' display to show, but no luck yet.... I'm sure it'll keep me amused all night long trying though.

Minus Points? Would it have killed them to put a focus assist lamp on it? Ah well, nothing is perfect, eh?

Re: New E-PL2..... Oh dear....

Page 80 of the manual, Control settings.
I have 'Live Control' set to off and 'Super Control Panel' on for each of the modes.

Then when viewing through the VF-2 or rear screen just press the 'OK' button to view the 'Super Control Panel'

And yes the E-PL2 is a great little camera, I find the 14-42, 40-150 and 20 to be all very good too
