Re: New Firmware 2.0

Hi I did try to follow the link, I have checked the images I had taken and looked at the exif most were 0ev comp which when editing I did not need any exposure alterations either way +-. As you can see if yo click on the link on my previous post in flickr the Exif is intact the only thing I did to the image was adjust colour balance a little and lift the shadow a little about 5-10% highlights left as it was no sharpening.

Likewise and as Bredman spotted it looks like it could appear in a future release (see below).

I now have my camera back replacement shutter due to a fault. I have just checked a test shot taken with my 12-35mm lens and the image looks sharper even when using auto iso.

How do I "find" the smaller focus point?

Regards

Hi, with the v2 firmware loaded, press menu, go down to cogs then press R/H arrow key so that you are on A, then press the R/H key again and then the down key7 times, then the R/H key and you can then choose your preferred focus type and you must then press OK to confirm, good luck and happy snapping

Re: New Firmware 2.0

I am still finding my way around the E-5 and its internal mysteries. I have updated the firmware to 2.0 however, the smaller focal point mode doesn't appear to stay in place if one uses the left -right arrows to review images. Is there anyway to set the fp to small and keep it that way.

Many thanks
David
