Thinking of Squirrels ...

... and other furry animals.

Dibnah in pensive mode.

Taken with the Panasonic 12-35mm on the E-M5. Quite a nice combination.

Great Photo! Are those your legs reflected in Dibnahs eye?

Very nice capture of Dibnah in deep thought.

Thanks, Brian and Tom! "Deep thought" suggests a degree of intelligence unfortunately in short supply in this Jack Russell!

A familiar expression! I like the shallow depth of field.

Actually she has to be told to "eat your dinner". Although if someone else is eating, that's a different thing! No, she was waiting for her "mum" to come home. She can hear her putting on her coat at work (admittedly only 50 yards away!).

Re: Thinking of Squirrels ...

Like my guy squirrels are high on the agenda.

It's the Terrier mentality of "If it moves chase it and if it doesn't...... then still chase it to see what happens".

I've been trying to get a shot like this but when Sam is up and about he rarely stays still long enough.

Lovely portrait.

Absolutely! And they sit under a tree, willing the squirrels to come down and give themselves up! Dibnah hates having her photo taken - she just turns away!

Tell me about it.

I've been told that the squirrel gets nervous, thinks he's not safe and in the end can't help but come down to try for another tree

Mind you not seen this happen but my one has the patients of a saint - he'll sit for ages waiting for a fly to come out from behind the venetian blind but get the camera and he's off.

The tight crop works well with the title Stephen ...he does appear to be pondering something quite profoundly!

Re: Thinking of Squirrels ...

There are a few squirrels in our garden to which Dibnah would be welcome!

Tree rats!
