Eagle owl

Hi every one, inspired by Tloves just another bird of prey image, i visited Shuttleworth bird of prey centre today. This image was taken with my E3, 50-200swd, EC-14, through a cage with the focal length at full (283mm), f/4.9, 1/25 HANDHELD with the IS on, although its not the sharpest of images it just proves what the E3 is capable of.

Thumbs up Re: Eagle owl

I think it goes a long way towards showing what you are capable of as well.

Very nicely done.

Re: Eagle owl

Woops - what have I started (tee hee )???!!

Very nice Phil, well done indeed

That 50-200mm SWD seems to be a really lovely lens. I've got the 'old' 50-200mm, but it seems to do okay for me - I've got used to it's funny little ways!

Cheers

Re: Eagle owl

Lovely shot Phil, you have to love the Eagle Owl eh!

I visited the Welsh Hawking Center earlier this year and took a few shots of one on display there myself. Fabulous birds to photograph.
