Peter Cairns 2020 Vision Roadshow.

Linda and I have just returned from a presentation of Peter Cairns' 2020 Vision Roadshow.
If you ever get the chance to see this lecture go!
It is without doubt the most impressive audio visual presentation I have ever seen. Period.
Stunning images narrated by an excellent public speaker had us riveted to our chairs all evening. I didn't want it to end.
The slideshow presentation was so impressive it has made me sit up and take notice of how pathetic my own presentations are.
I am now going to look for some much higher quality slide show creative software. Any one got any suggestions?

This is totally outside my sphere of knowledge, but as you were impressed with the presentation, why not contact Pete Cairns and ask what he uses?

Bet it doesn't come cheap, though!

Try Pictures to EXE or Proshow Gold, or Proshow Producer they are all very good at what they do.

Here is a short AV sequence I did recently in Proshow Producer.

You mean this fellow?

Met him on a boat in Skye harbour last year as we shot dolphins in the bay. He was working on the project then. (Someone has to do it)
Must sus out where he is showing his show in the south.

Re: Peter Cairns 2020 Vision Roadshow.

I know he is giving his lecture at Ware Photographic Society in April 2014.
I've booked my seat already as Ware PS is my home club and has been since 1974.
Yes I heard there was an Oly user out on the Brigadoon earlier this year.
All the Sea eagle Boat trip Skippers are good mates of mine and there is very little that happens on Skye photographically that I don't get to hear about.

Great suggestion John Zuiko. I have in fact just telephoned Peter and the programme he used is Photomagico an Apple bit of software.
Gonna buy it now!

Yes I saw that from his site and if he is not appearing closer, will visit Ware and see his show in the evening.

I would have thought that Ware was a bit far to travel to from Skye. Unless there is a closer 'Ware' in Scotland.

No, it's just that there are no camera clubs, photographic societies on Skye my nearest
one is Dingwall.
Ware has been a great asset to me over the years and so I've stayed with them.
