Shopping Trolley

Saw this today on a walk around town in my lunch break.
I was wondering how do you get your pound in the top one

Well, isn't it obvious? They've constructed it like a spiral staircase, so all you have to do is step from one up to the next, using the handles as the treads, until you can reach the slot!
