With a few words added, could have been used for this months challenge!

Re: Still seasonal but slightly warmer looking

Hi Timmy

I've tried tree decorations myself and it's always hard to decide what white balance to use. I like the overall colour in this one, but I have to admit that the large expance of OOF gold in the top R and Bottom R is a bit too much for me

I may have tried a tighter crop.

Having said that I agree a very useable christmas card shot

Regards
Andy

Re: Still seasonal but slightly warmer looking

Thankyou all for the comments.

As suggested I have tried the tighter crop, must admit I prefer it.

Thanks for the tip!

Re: Still seasonal but slightly warmer looking

Yes, the crop does better define the main subject, but I like the original too. I love the warm, glowing colours, they seem to match the mood perfectly. I don't mind the burnt out hilight on the ball itself, it helps draw attention to the ball, but I would prefer not to have the secondary hilight in the background. Nevertheless, very good and I like it. May try something similar myself if we ever get our decorations up!
