Some photos from the portable hide (Zuiko 300 has got a new life!)

Hi,

I have improved my portable hide (https://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=50586) to improve the seating comfort and adding openings on the side. Used it for photo sessions at one of my favorite locations which is off the beaten track, very little human presence and no habitation within kilometers as it is in an area used at occasion when the Swedish army are training. When they are not, public is welcome to visit.

Basically open ground with gentle slopes with patches of scrub. The hide is just perfect, after you have set it up it and got yourself installed the birds will show up again. I placed quite close a patch of scrub partially shaded by a birch (nice in the evening heat) but still offering free sight to the sides.

For this session I did put my newly calibrated Zuiko 300 F/2.8 to work after having revisited all samples I took back in May and updated the camera AF calibration settings accordingly. (The method is described in https://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthr...t=calibration)

For the E-M1 I applied -8 when fitted with the EC-14 and -13 when fitted with the EC-20. For the E-M1 M2 I applied -13 with the EC-14 and -18 with the EC-20

Here are some samples.

Thanks for looking,
Tord
