Sunrise over Saint Michael De Rupe

The 13th century church in Brentor is perched in a perfect location to welcome in the new day, even if it did mean getting up at 6am to get there in time, definitely a struggle for someone like me who is not a morning person!... at least this shot made the early start all worthwhile!

That's a beauty.

Well worth the sacrifice.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Sunrise over Saint Michael De Rupe

That must be the best situation for a church in the country and you was there at exactly the right moment.

Re: Sunrise over Saint Michael De Rupe

Thanks Pete and John!

This is one that's been on my photo-bucket-list for about the past year... it certainly is a special place for a church! I saw an image of the church in the snow which was spectacular, definitely somewhere I will be returning to!

Lovely photo with great lead in lines, main focal point and sky!

I bet they don't get many in their congregation!
