Yes it's a wonderful lens.Wish I could afford one.I used one on an E system day out.
The only thing is the weight.I carried it for about 3 hours and my shoulder was nearly dropping off.

But you said presents, what else have you got??

Re: Look this way - Mr Robin

Thanks Andy

The other present is the ec2.0 that was also being used.

The 90-250 is 'cheap' at Amazon 3772.90, at least compared to most other retailers (there are only 2 left)

Get thee behind me Satan.Don't try and tempt me.

I'll be interested to see how you get on with the EC20,looks ok in these,I've herd conflicting reports about it.

Yes they are great pictures Nick! I have been toying with the idea of buying either a 300mm or the 90-250mm for over a year now. The problem is every time I decide today is the day to buy one I break out in a cold sweat! ...........................the problem now is you have bought this thought back to the front of my mind!

Congratulations Nick. They are exceptional images. The sharpness and colour are amazing. Hand-held or tripod?

Re: Look this way - Mr Robin

Andy - too early to tell with the ec2.0, but obviously given good light it seems to work with this lens.

David - hand held - the lens balances well, though I've yet to work out how to quickly alter the zoom whilst supporting the weight.

Edward - well temptation is their to be given into - and I doubt that when (if) Amazon re-stock they will hold this price.

Thank you

Nick
