Oly vs Nokia 9 Mobile comparison

Got myself a new mobile phone and wanted to compare its camera capability with my Oly.

Have to say that in these fairly ideal circumstances the phone does amazingly well.

Both are raw files slightly cropped and tweaked a little in PS.

But you cannot get an out of focus background with such a small sensor

That's what everyone says. The effective aperture was F1.8 on the Nokia.
My Oly won't go below F4.0. with the 12 - 100mm lens I used.

I have not changed the background for either picture. But I know its ideal circumstances in good light.

These phones are getting better and better, to the point where I hardly ever take my pocket camera out anymore

Had a play with the iPhone 10 and was impressed with the quality of the images it can produce. Ian has some very interesting reviews of some new phones.

Second photo has less lens nurgles in the background blurry stuff.
Both good, very similar quality.
How do they compare on faces, with a 45mm 1.8 or at least something more ... less ... ordinary than an F4 travel zoom ?

Re: Oly vs Nokia 9 Mobile comparison

To its favour the Nokia has fewer buttons and knobs, in other words less b******s.
