Too wide?

Ever take a panorama and realise that it's too wide to be of any practical use, and that even if you could find someone to print it, there'd be no way to frame it? Live and learn I guess...

18 vertical shots - nearly 99 inches wide at 300dpi.

Re: Too wide?

Mike,
It's a magnificent photo.
Rather than having it framed, you could get it printed onto a 'canvas' style frameless mount. Many web based photo printers offer such a service.

Have you considered contacting the Forth Bridge Authorities and asking whether they would like to use the image for promotional purposes? If they do they might be willing to print a copy for you.

Re: Too wide?

I did think about maybe getting it printed on to three separate canvases or similar. Not sure if I've got a long enough wall for them all though

I've been doing a sort of informal project of sorts, charting the building of the new bridge, which is very near completion now, so maybe I'll add it into whatever I do with those photos eventually.

Re: Too wide?

I guess you can always downsize, it certainly deserves printing somehow!
