A few from Beacon Hill in Boston

I lived near Boston for three years at the end of the 90s so the place still holds a special place in my heart. I had a half day there returning home to the UK and managed to grab a few shots including these at Beacon Hill. All with the E-M1ii + 12-100.

The area is known for its authentic gas lights. It's hard to separate them from the street clutter so I tried a silhouette as an alternative.

Re: A few from Beacon Hill in Boston

I like the processing of the third shot but the simplicity of the shadow on the pavement edges it for me.

I've been lucky enough to visit a few times, it's a great City. You've really caught the Old England feel of the place, nicely done.

Re: A few from Beacon Hill in Boston

Boston is a great city, been a few times.
My son lived there for a while and its where he met his wife.

I like the last one the most, but it could be anywhere I guess.
