Stanley

As a thank you to our neighbours for lending us a torque wrench we took some photos of their five and a half month old puppy, Stanley. It was very grey and dull so poor lighting, but Stanley was very cute and very well behaved. I popped the 40-150mm pro on and I'm quite pleased with the results.

Re: Stanley

Thanks Keith, I'm sure they will be, but I was very critical of the shots (I had too much ISO) as there's a different pressure when you're doing it for someone else! They look good printed.

Re: Stanley

Now that's the kind of dog I like - a handsome well behaved neighbour's dog, Stanley fills the bill and your pictures are terrific!

Re: Stanley

Thanks Mark, tomfotofx, Ed and MargaretR, your comments are appreciated.

The owner popped over this morning to tell my husband how pleased she was and was off to buy frames for the prints, which I was glad to hear. As I found out yesterday, it's a different proposition taking pictures for someone other than yourself. I hope to do more, but need to find out what I need to do to set things up.

p.s. Mark, we have a horrible happy dog in the house behind us and the owners appear to go out and he yaps non stop for hours. In the summer we had to resort to closing the patio doors and we could still here him over the tele! Drove me crazy!
