Hi,

Thanks for sharing these excellent pictures. May I ask what lens you used?

The Darter looks slightly over-contrasted, not sure if it is result of high standing sun or if you did adjust contrast a tad too high (just my opinion, apart from that the technical quality and composition is excellent)

Thanks for your comment. The lens used for the Darter was the 300mm f2.8 and I was trialling a version of Topaz Detail which is probably responsible for the contrast. I certainly need to use it more to get an idea of the settings appropriate for different subjects.

The other images were taken on the 50mm f2.
