Aberfeldy Distilliary

Aberfeldy Distilliary (part of the Dewars group) is not one that I have visited before so I made the effort on a recent trip to Scotland.

View when approaching from the car park.

View from the road.

Surprisingly the stills are visible from the road - meaning that you can take pictures. Usually you are not allowed to take pictures from within the still room because of the possibility of alcohol vapour being present.

Resulting in blurred and out of focus pictures if my experience has anything to do with it ... Hic.

My favourite whisky. A very smooth drop.

OM, Can't say I ever developed a taste for Scotch - I was once given a bottle of Glenfiddich that I gave to a seasoned tippler. Cognac I loved but very rarely touch alcohol of any sort these days.

Must admit that I like a drop of single malt whisky, but rarely drink it these days. Now gin on the other hand...………….:-(

Nice photos, we do have a whisky distillery in South Wales, maybe I should visit...…..
