As one of the early adopters who paid 1300 for my E-M1 body, I have to agree with you Phil.

I was with you Ron although the free adapter and grip softened the blow a bit. Don't regret it though as it was a lot of run learning and interacting with everyone. It was the first time I've ever bought anything by pre-order as it came out. Not sure I'd do it again though with that price drop, I think patience might just win out next time.

I pre-ordered the E-M5 & it was fun to be part of the start of that 'ground breaking' model excitement but when I also pre-ordered (without deposit) the E-M1 we had bush fires around us that sort of motivated me to wait when told it was ready for pick up. When I did buy it 6 months later I then saved about $220 & got $300 cash back instead of the HLD7 (which was worth $299) & then bought the grip later on for about $250 (but a day later another seller was clearing out theirs for $150 ).
