A bargain, or too good to be true? (Pan 25 1.4 for small change)
I saw this just too late. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Panasonic-Le...app-cvip-panel
New seller with no 'form'. They appear to have priced it as though it were the cheap CCTV lens. Did someone get a bargain, or might it have been some kind of scam? |

Very strange - I'd be amazed if anyone gets that lens for £17.23 all the way from China. I reckon you might get a CCTV lens if you were lucky and a PayPal dispute for sure!

Re: A bargain, or too good to be true? (Pan 25 1.4 for small change)
I agree that's possible.
It still seems weird that the description is "Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm f/1.4 ASPH". If the seller put that into eBay they'd see a lot of listings at £400 (or equivalent) so surely wouldn't have set a 99p reserve and sold for £17? I can't see how the seller can hope to profit from this unless a - they don't send anything at all. b - the lens was found or stolen but even then you'd pay shipping. Very weird!

Re: A bargain, or too good to be true? (Pan 25 1.4 for small change)
I just did an Ebay search on "Panasonic" "25mm" "1.4" (within lenses) and sorted on price, the first 20 entries are for C mount lenses in the range £14 - £23. After that there's a jump to £250 and they're Lumix lenses.
