Lovely, tells an interesting story leaving you wondering what the drinker was like and what was their thought for the day. Superb lighting and composition.

Thank you, David and apologies to all for the duplicated thread.

I have truly LOST IT - I think it's time I went into voluntary care.

Don't worry Mark, it's not a problem - I deleted the duplicate thread for you. All sorted now.

John and Terry, Thank you both.

Yes Terry, I prefer it to the better known Cascade Lager. The featured bottle is probably not all that old since the log it was on would have been under water during the last flood two months ago.

I noticed it was half full of liquid but decided not to tipple.

Re: If I could save time in a bottle ...

The bottle sits neatly among the autumn leaves - seems strange with all our plants now charging ahead with their strongest growth. Being members of this forum gives us all the privilege of having two seasons running alongside - one in reality outside of our windows and the other beamed to us from the other side of the world by modern technology.

Only problem I have now is that the summers seem to take longer to arrive and disappear much quicker than they used to!

Regards,
Ann1e

I stumbled upon the subject while returning from shooting the second new footbridge under construction on the Ovens.

At first from a distance it was the old stump that caught my eye. A closer inspection revealed the bottle that became the picture.
