Woodland plants

A non-flower and a couple of flowers from the woods today, with the 12-50. It's not at all a bad macro lens for a kit lens.

I think this is Greater Horsetail, it's easier to tell when they have opened out.

Re: Woodland plants

Nice, we have dog violet growing in our garden this year, it is quite a rapid grower.

Re Lens, I agree its not a bad lens at all, I find myself using it more and more as a general purpose lens as well as its macro facility

Having said it's not bad for macro, I'm still regretting selling my 4/3 50mm

Re: Woodland plants

All very nice, you have used the horsetail to create a superb repeating pattern.
