  • Site bug-fixing; could be some more disruption

    Hi everyone,

Since day one we have had problems with e-group.uk.net email; some mail recipients, especially AOL mailboxes, have been unable to receive eitehr personal emails from us and automated emails generated by the server. This has made it difficult or impossible for many to register on the site.

We think we have identified the problem and the solution may involve moving from one DNS service to another. This may cause some disruption, though hopefully not. So this is just a warning.

With luck, the email problem will be finally solved any a good number of people who have been trying to register will finally be able to do so.

    Thanks for your patience,

I understand the fix was more seamless than anticipated. Hopefully AOL users should be able to register here now.

Yup! It's bad enough doing the current NINE Windows Vista updates!
