By 'eck. You are a whole day ahead of us up there in Lancashire..

I am planning to try for a shot of the eclipse tomorrow (assuming it isn't completely overcast like today) with the GX-7 and a legacy 200mm lens. I will be looking at the rear screen to frame and set the focus.

When it comes to using the telescope, I was going to try sticking an old camera pentaprism on the eyepiece to project the sun on the ceiling indoors. Absolutely don't look in the telescope when the sun is about, ever...
