What do you find lacking about the 12-100? It's very difficult to form an opinion from images resized for the web

I had the 14-150 Mk1 (now sold a while back) and I'm a pretty sure it wouldn't be a match for my copy of the 12-100.
I also have the 40-150 f/2.8 and I would say my 12-100 is in a similar class. Again just my opinion.
