Chopper madness

There was that sound of a mighty low helicopter this lunchtime, so I jammed the 70-300 at the long end, and grabbed a shot as it came over.

Trouble is, I was too close :-) Normally chopper pilots avoid HV overhead lines like the plague, but this guy is paid to fly along them looking for problems with a thermal camera I guess. So if the lines are in a valley, the chopper ends up so low you clip the tail with your 300mm lens...
