When I first started processing raw files, I was using Linux as a desktop operating system. The were very few raw file processors available for Linux. One of the few was Bibble Pro. It was relatively competent, extremely fast and very cheap. It could operate under Linux, Windows and Mac.

Years went by and Bibble sold out to Corel and Bibble Pro is now known as Corel AfterShot Pro. It is still very fast, fairly competent and amazingly cheap. I keep an up-to-date version on my Macs to play with from time to time. Definitely worth a look:
