I appreciate it isn't poop, but I believed frass was also used for the leftovers from wood-borers - which I guess is also not excreted. I simply extended that to apple boring. A step too far

But it is hard to describe the partially chewed pile of apple fruit fibrous mass in one word.

But I shall not be searching google as they already have a huge dossier on me.
